Devitt, the ITC teacher of the Oxford University has bumped into Marie, his colleague, who teaches English Literature in the same school. They are planning to meet when during the next break...

Devitt: What's up, Marie? Do you want to take a coffee during the break?

Marie: Okay that would be nice! I will call you as soon as I finish my next class.

Devitt: Ok, see you later!

During the break...

Marie: (...)  Excuse me if I'm rude, but I have also been thinking about how appropiate is ICT as a subject in school. You know that nowadays, the youth are really capable of dealing with new technologies. Tell me what's your take on that as ITC is the subject you teach at school.

Devitt: No problem, I know it's something that can be missunderstood. ITC is necessary as long as we are facing a future where we need to be able to deal with new technologies. You always have something to learn about this topic, believe me.

Marie: Well, that may be true. However, I find that students can be easily distracted when they are using the computers or any other kind of technology devices.

Devitt: Yes, I agree with you since I can't be looking at two hundred students at the same time...

Marie: ... and that's a problem that would only be solved if students took more seriously the lessons. They are the ones that, after all, need to pay attention and don't get distracted.

Devitt: Absolutely.

Marie: In fact, I have been experiencing some problems with my laptop recently. Would you mind if you stayed a bit more so that you can solve them?

Devitt: Okay, don't worry. Let me see...
